Mission Statement

SaferWeb is a company that has been set up by two individuals who have over 36 years experience of ICT in education. Our experience includes and covers both the educational and technical sides of the subject; experienced Subject Leader for ICT, highly respected Network Manager, CEOP Ambassador and father of four young children. We have a passion for the internet but fully understand the dangers for children and young adults that it can pose if precautions and certain safeguards are not taken.

We are also fully aware of the pressures placed upon educationalists by OfSTED and the new Framework which has Safeguarding Children at the heart of an inspection.

Our educational establishment has just been successfully accredited with the prestigious 360Esafe award and we are the first school in the North West and only the eighth school in the country to gain such accreditation.

Over the last 12 months we have been offering advice and assistance to local schools on the subject of e-safety and have been asked on many occasions to ‘formalise’ our work.

In response to these requests and because we have a belief and feel passionately about what we do, we have created a website with help and advice for schools ( and have just released a cd that contains all our policies and PowerPoint presentations that were successful in gaining our 360 Esafe Award.
